Everyone will eventually go to a hospital. Did you know that, here in Québec or Canada, nosocomial infections caused by bacterias such as C. difficile or MRSA and others kill more people each year than car accidents? Every year, in Québec only, 90 000 people are afflicted by these infections and out of this number 4000 will die. It is reasonable to say that 50% of these infections could be avoided by proper prevention and control measures such as strict hand hygiene and hospitals cleanliness.
By joining our association, you will contribute to our mission which aims at improving the quality of health cares delivered by all health centers and the protection of patients.
