The fight againts HAI will be effective if is integrated into the hospitals management policies: It needs to become a corporate priority, accountability and leadership.
Yes, they are the responsabilty of the entire institution: not just the infection specialists. Public at large, patients, medical staff, hospital authorities, Ministry of Health and politician must be involved.
