Jacques Besson used to be a medical doctor, specialized in allergic diseases.He is now retired. In August 2003, he was hospitalized for a surgery - removal of a disk hernia. The two days stay was prolongued in 4 months in hospital, a second surgery and a major infection. After another 6 months of cares at home, he finally got over the infection and decided with his daughter Christine, to found this association 1/to denounce the pitifull situation of victims and 2/ to raise awareness amongst the public and the health system staff. In 2009, at the age of 88, Jacques Besson is still president of the association.
